Yamma, my name is Darci Fish, I’m a proud Kamilaroi woman from Gunnedah, I was born on Wiradjuri land in Bathurst, and I currently reside on Awabakal land in Newcastle. I am currently studying a Bachelor of Social Science, majoring in Human Services, and looking into changing into a law degree in the future. At the moment I am doing an internship with NSW Parliament, working in and alongside the Human Resource department, the Education department and the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Liaison Officer. I am also a Canteen Youth Ambassador and YARN member.
