Canteen Connect is an online community where young people impacted by cancer can connect with others in similar situations as well as chat to specialist counsellors. Using the app or website, young people can add their voice to conversations that matter to them, chat with others who share a similar experience and join online events such as book clubs, gaming nights and crafting sessions.
Evidence underpins everything we do at Canteen. Regularly evaluating our services – and acting on the results - is an important part of that.
Between June to July 2023, we surveyed young people who use Canteen Connect to understand what was working well and what we could improve. Watch the video below to see what we learned.
