Canteen Youth Ambassador Franki shares that cancer taught her to slow down and smell the roses. Before her Dad passed away, he always prioritised spending quality time together, having a no-technology family barbeque every Sunday and playing sport together. Since her Dad’s passing, Franki now makes sure she spends lots of time with friends, gets to know the world around her and continues playing sport each weekend.
