Over her career, Andrea has led large brand and reputation, stakeholder, and corporate social responsibility functions for some of Australia’s most iconic brands including Australia Post, National Australia Bank, Fosters and Telstra. 12 months ago, she made a leap into sports administration when she joined Netball Victoria as Chief Executive Officer.
In her roles Andrea has worked extensively with the non-profit sector and sporting community from the grass roots through to the elite level. She has built a strong understanding of the many challenges facing groups in our community, including the significant levels of prejudice and discrimination and barriers to participation.
Andrea is passionate about improving diversity and inclusion both within organisations and across the wider community and at Australia Post, she co-founded Inclusive Australia, alongside BehaviourWorks at Monash University. Inclusive Australia aims to reduce prejudice and discrimination within society using a data and behavioural science approach and working in collaboration.
At Netball Victoria, Andrea is focused on ensuring netball, as Australia’s largest female sport, plays an important role in improving equity and access for women and girls and at the same time ensuring that netball is a welcoming, safe, and inclusive place for all.
